5 Simple Tips to Improve your Online Marketing This Holiday Season

1) Start posting now. Yes, it is November 1st. Its open season for Christmas (did you hear?)

Consistent posting equals your posts are going to be seen later. Be funny. Be Creative. Oh geez, just be online!

2)  Be Strategic!
So you own a calendar, right? Ok, no. Then print one off, create one online or write a mock calendar on a napkin. Then start filling in the blanks. I'll give you a hint in Tip 3.

3) Don't Recreate the wheel.
Use what has worked in the past. Play off the almost a dozen "holidays" between now and the end of the year to run specials, promote products/services, or as just good content marketing pieces.

New Years Day

4) Update your online presence
There is no time better than the present to do this. Here is a quick checklist to run through:
  1. Google Places
  2. Facebook Hours
  3. Facebook Website Link
  4. Instagram Website Link and Contact
  5. Twitter Website Link
5) Have online and offline talk
Have a strong online presence but no one there to check it out. Make sure you are promoting it offline. Easy places you can do this:
  1. Front Door
  2. By the Register
  3. Email Signature
  4. Business Card
  5. Commercials/Rack Cards
