1) Start posting now. Yes, it is November 1st. Its open season for Christmas (did you hear?)
Consistent posting equals your posts are going to be seen later. Be funny. Be Creative. Oh geez, just be online!
Before you say it....Post? But what to post? See Tip 2.
2) Be Strategic!
So you own a calendar, right? Ok, no. Then print one off, create one online or write a mock calendar on a napkin. Then start filling in the blanks. I'll give you a hint in Tip 3.
3) Don't Recreate the wheel.
Use what has worked in the past. Play off the almost a dozen "holidays" between now and the end of the year to run specials, promote products/services, or as just good content marketing pieces.
What are those holidays?
Small Business Saturday
Day after Christmas
New Years Eve
New Years Day
You don't have to embrace them all but there is a long list of days to map out strategic content around.
Don't know where to start?

4) Update your online presence
There is no time better than the present to do this. Here is a quick checklist to run through:
- Google Places
- Facebook Hours
- Facebook Website Link
- Instagram Website Link and Contact
- Twitter Website Link
Have a strong online presence but no one there to check it out. Make sure you are promoting it offline. Easy places you can do this:
- Front Door
- By the Register
- Email Signature
- Business Card
- Commercials/Rack Cards
